Torah School
We are called The Little Temple With The Big Heart. The same is true of our Torah School. With an incredible faculty, the most supportive of families and the most wonderful and unique students—Ner Ami Torah School has been a presence in the community for 35 years. Our curriculum and programs are updated and changed to meet the needs of our students. Your children bring their unique gifts and challenges—and we work with each child as an individual.
There is a strong social component to our school. Activities such as games at recess, Camp Kadima (our enrichment program) and youth group events, provide our students with a Jewish connection.
Highlights of our curriculum and programs include:
- B’nai Mitzvah Training
- Hebrew, Prayer and Ritual
- Holidays & Traditions
- Torah (Bible stories & history)
- Holocaust Education
- Life Cycle/Jewish Literacy
- Israel
- Ethics/Values/Philosophy
- Cultural Activities (Music, Art, Cooking, Dance,
Storytelling)
- Social activities (Youth Groups)

Torah School meets on Wednesdays from 4:15-6:15PM.
Please note that tuition is included with full, sustaining Temple membership.
A scholarship fund has been established for students in need. We do not want children to miss the opportunity for a Jewish education because of financial difficulty. However, if you are able to contribute to this fund yourself, please perform a great mitzvah by making a contribution of any amount to the
Newman Scholarship Fund.
For more information, call the Temple Office and leave a message for Julia with your name, phone number, and email address.
